What it is
A Dalmatian stone sculpting spoon designed by Cecily Braden. Its beveled-edge shape lets you sculpt, lift and smooth, and every edge and angle, from the handle to the pointed tip, can be used to address blockages and release stagnation.
In crystal traditions, Dalmatian stone is said to harmonize emotions, quiet negative and overanalyzing thoughts, and encourage grounding and self-confidence.

Care & safety
Care
Wash with mild soap and lukewarm water after each use and dry fully. Stone can chip if dropped. When warming or cooling, avoid sudden extreme temperature changes and always test the temperature on your skin first.
Safety
Don't use over broken skin, active breakouts, sunburn, rashes or recent injections or procedures. Use very light pressure on the front of the neck. If you bruise easily, take blood thinners, are pregnant or have a medical condition, check with your healthcare provider first. Light pinkness is normal, this is blood flow.
The anatomy
Gua sha works on muscle and fascia. As tension releases, it supports the movement of lymph and blood through the tissues. For dedicated lymphatic drainage, pair it with The Lymphatic Brush. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, gua sha is used to move qi (energy) and blood.
FAQ
Can I use it hot or cold?
Yes. Start at room temperature or warmed, then alternate warm and cold.
One spoon or two?
One is plenty for self-care. Two let you work both sides of the face at once.
Is gua sha the same as lymphatic drainage?
Gua sha works on muscle and fascia, and as tension releases it supports the movement of lymph and blood. For dedicated lymphatic drainage, we recommend The Lymphatic Brush.
Why does my spoon look different from the photo?
Natural stone varies in colour and markings.
