This is Body-First Retail. Inner Beauty Shop mindfully selects products, translates anatomy and science into practical education, and organizes self-care through four Inner Beauty Pathways: RESET, FLOW, RELEASE and NOURISH. It does not diagnose or offer medical treatment. It helps you understand your body before you buy.

RELEASE works with tension, restriction, fascia and mobility. Muscles and fascia often hold tension in the jaw, neck and shoulders, and it may show up as tightness through the face. This is where hands-on tools come in: gua sha for the face and body, myofascial balls for deeper muscle work, and a facial reflexology tool for focused pressure.

From the treatment room to the home.
Inner Beauty Shop began with founder Alexandra Fox's desire to bring the care and education of the treatment room into the home. It started during lockdown as a small gua sha launch on Etsy, built around genuine interest and professional experience. Alexandra's background in holistic aesthetics, her experience in medical aesthetics and her own history with cystic acne shaped a simple conviction: people deserve to understand their tools, their products and their bodies, not simply be sold another solution.

No. The four Inner Beauty Pathways are areas of support, not steps. Begin with the one that feels most relevant: RESET to pause and become present, FLOW to support lymphatic movement and circulation, RELEASE to work with tension, fascia and mobility, or NOURISH to support the skin and body from the outside in and the inside out. Focus on one, combine several or move between them as what you notice changes. Where a specific tool or technique has its own sequence for safe and effective use, always follow those instructions.
What is gua sha good for?
Gua sha is a technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses a smooth-edged tool across the skin. In facial care, it is used to encourage circulation and lymphatic movement and to work with tension held in the face, jaw and neck. Many people use it to help reduce the look of puffiness, ease jaw tension and support a more rested-looking complexion over time. It supports at-home care; it does not permanently change fascia or facial structure.
What is lymphatic drainage and why does it matter for the face?
The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that helps return excess fluid from tissue to the bloodstream. When that movement slows, some people notice puffiness, especially in the face and under the eyes. Tools like The Lymphatic Brush are designed to gently encourage this movement with light pressure and a specific direction, following the techniques taught by its creator, Cecily Braden. They support at-home care and are not a treatment for lymphatic conditions.
